The Indian Association for Computational Mechanics (IndACM) is India's leading professional society dedicated to advancing research, education, and innovation in the field of computational mechanics. Established in 2000, the association serves as a national platform for researchers, academicians, industry professionals, and students working across diverse engineering and scientific disciplines.
One of IndACM's most significant initiatives is the International Congress of Computational Mechanics and Simulation (ICCMS), its flagship biennial conference. ICCMS brings together world-renowned experts, researchers, and emerging scholars to present cutting-edge research, discuss technological advancements, and address challenges in computational science, engineering, and simulation. Making it one of the premier forums in the field efficient initiatives is the International Congress of Computational Mechanics and Simulation

Prof. Tarun Kant is the founder of the Indian Association for Computational Mechanics (IndACM), established in 2000 to advance research, education, and collaboration in computational mechanics across India. A distinguished academic and researcher, he has played a pioneering role in developing the field and strengthening its presence within the Indian engineering community.
Over the course of his career, Prof. Kant has made significant contributions to computational structural mechanics, finite element methods, and numerical analysis. His research and academic leadership have influenced generations of engineers and researchers, while his work has earned widespread recognition both nationally and internationally.
Prof. Kant also initiated the International Congress of Computational Mechanics and Simulation (ICCMS), which has grown into India's flagship conference in computational mechanics.
